Strange fortune-telling rituals

Fortune-telling was usually performed in specific and specific places. At the foot of mosque minarets, inside mosques' nightstands, shrines, Christian and Jewish holy places, large city squares, busy thoroughfares, riverbanks, green spaces, Jewish baths, tanneries, and tombs were among the places where fortune-telling was performed.
