Pearl cannon, a large military cannon located in the citadel of Old Tehran, in front of the old tin house. The name of this ball is not known, but some (Katiraei, 1378) have mentioned the reason for naming several strings of pearls that have been hung on the mouth of the ball. The inscription engraved on the ball mentions the name of its builder, Ismail Isfahani, and the year of its construction, 1233 (by the order of Ali Qajar Shah (ruled: 1212–1250)). The cannon is currently at the entrance to State Department Building No. 7 (Ministry of War Officers Club).
