The new Miss USA is Elle Smith, a local TV reporter from Kentucky

Smith's blue and white uniform was a tribute to his university, the University of Kentucky. Smith graduated from the university in May 2020 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He currently serves as a full-time reporter at WHAS, an ABC branch in Louisville, Kentucky.
