Surveillance footage shows Zarutska, 23, boarding a train in Charlotte wearing a pizza uniform. The killer, Decarlos Brown Jr., 34, was sitting in the seat behind her when he pulled out a knife and began the attack. Brown was arrested and quickly charged with first-degree murder, a charge that could carry the death penalty. He has a prior criminal history that includes robbery and larceny convictions, having previously been arrested 14 times.
