Boyfriend of 23-year-old Ukrainian woman who was fatally stabbed speaks out about her tragic death
The grieving fiancé of Iryna Zarutska has sharply criticized a judge who earlier released the convicted felon accused of Zarutska's brutal murder. On August 22, Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee, was stabbed to death on a train in North Carolina by Decarlos Brown Jr. as she was returning home from work. The incident sparked widespread outrage.
Nikulytsia, who had been living with his girlfriend for the last year and has been described as Zarutska's 'life partner' in her obituary, has also reposted a number of clips on his Instagram Stories, including one which slammed Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes, who reportedly freed Zarutska’s alleged killer on cashless bail seven months before the attack.
