Tingling and numbness are common symptoms of MS. These symptoms are usually felt in parts of the body, such as the hands and feet, and can sometimes spread to the spine or even the face. Tingling and numbness can be caused by damage to the nerves in the brain and spinal cord caused by MS, as MS is associated with the destruction of myelin (the protective covering of nerves).
