Million Dollar Flavors

Almas Caviar - Iran $25,000/Kilo

Due to its availability during the Middle Ages, beluga sturgeon roe was food for village people. There is one kind of caviar - from a strange albino sturgeon - that lives in the waters of the Caspian sea, which is in much more demand. This caviar can only be bought through the European distributor Caviar House and Prunier and it is said that there's a waiting list of almost four years in order to have access to a portion, which if this wasn't enough, is presented in a 24-carat gold tin.
