She was one of the three models on the June 2011 issue of Vogue Italia, was the first plus size model to appear in a Ralph Lauren campaign in 2012, was featured on the May 2012 cover of France's Marie Claire, and was the first plus size model to appear in Vogue Australia.The 24-year-old Sydney-based model didn’t just make history with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She initially worked as a straight model at the age of 17 but was unable to maintain the super slim figure required and eventually signed to a plus size agency called Bella Model Management aged 18.
