But as Newsweek reports, Trump seems to have inherited his biggest insecurity from his mother, who grew up in a very humble part of Scotland but ended up in an opulent mansion in New York. She became obsessed with luxury. And Donald Trump inherited not only that obsession but also his mother’s insecurity about not being born into a wealthy and privileged family.
