O. J. Simson was charged with the murder of Nichole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, on July 12, 1994.Simpson was eventually acquitted of all charges in this highly publicized and controversial trial. In addition to the infamous murder trial, Simpson has had several other run-in’s with the law. According to the state of California O.J. owe $1.44 millions in back taxes.In September, 2007, Simpson was arrested and initially held without bail, for the robbery of a Las Vegas casino. Simpson admitted to leading a group of men to take sports memorabilia, but only by claiming that the items were his and were originally stolen from him.
