Al Pacino Addiction
This is a bleak and emotional film with a ton of heart. The audience is treated to an intimate look into the lives of these young addicts. It’s hard to watch at times, but it feels very honest and very real. Having worked with many addicts throughout my career thus far, the cycle of addiction in this film feels an awful lot like the cycle of addiction that I’ve heard about and seen. It begins as a recreational thing, spirals downward into crime and betrayal, and ultimately circles back around to start the cycle again.
