The History of Miss Iran go back to 1965 when the first series of competition performed with the name of Spring Girl (Spring as season name) by Zan-e Rooz magazine. The winner “Siima Izadjou” in fact cab be the first documented beauty pageant in Iran.
The official competition after 1966 continued with the name of Miss Iran until 1978 (Islamic Revolution) and there were no more competition after such a date officially held in Iran. However by growth of communication and social networks some Iranian girls entered global competitions around the world without any organisation.
Miss Iran organisation was founded in Jun 2013 by “IMAJH World Media Company” and this organisation providide young ladies with an opportunity to make their mark in today’s society. The first winner of Miss Iran competition series after 2013 is Mandana Yavar. Shadi Osmani was Miss Iran 2014 winner and Atefeh Eskandari is Miss Iran 2015 winner.
