The mansion has an area of 11,000 sq. ft. and was custom built by the Free Fallin’ singer and his wife Jane Benyo in 1989. It was built based on the rocker’s desire but they’ve made changes over the years. The mansion underwent renovation and now has more modern furnishings but still maintained the style Petty intended.
