Iguazu Falls in Argentina/Brazil
Iguazu Falls are found on the border of Brazil and Argentina. Not very high (285 ft/87 m), but very impressive: it has 275 cascades, that form a horseshoe and stretch for 8858ft (2700 m). South America also works its magic farther south, where the renowned Iguassu Falls are among the planet's most spectacular border spots - foaming furiously to help the River Iguassu split Brazil from Argentina . The focal point is the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) - a 2,297ft (700m) U-shaped half-bowl where the relentless power of the river is almost unnerving.
