Before "Dokhtar Shaayesteh" (Meritorious/Suitable Girl), the Miss Iran title was called "Dokhtar-e Bahar" (Daughter of Spring). In 1965, Sima Izadjou was the first and only "Dokhtar-e Bahar" chosen by a Zan-e Rooz magazine, led by Homa Ehsan.
