Green tea or Matcha?

Matcha tea originated in Japan nearly a thousand years ago. It is in the same family as green tea; both come from the Camellia Sinensis plant but are harvested differently, which explains why Matcha may have an advantage over green tea. To create Japanese Matcha, it is protected from direct sunlight, which increases the levels of compounds like chlorophyll, caffeine, amino acids, and antioxidants.
