Sanchez-Bezos says she has always had a happy demeanor and, even before she married Bezos, liked to think she was 20 percent happier than everyone else. To illustrate this claim, Sanchez points to a memory from when she was 18. After failing to land her dream job as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines because she was a few pounds overweight, she crashed her car into her cousin's garage in frustration, but she says she was "practically happy" despite it.
