Screen shot from the active window: For Windows users: The Print Screen button takes a full screen shot, but if you only want to shoot the screen from the active window, use the Alt + Print Screen shortcut. With this, you do not need to edit the screenshot.
For Mac users: Command + Shift + 4, then press Space. This will change the cursor from the crosshair to the camera icon. Now click on the window you want to take a photo.
