Australians enjoy some of the highest minimum wages in the world, especially for workers in the service industry. Tipping isn’t common practice, and while it won’t offend anyone, it’s simply not expected. Most Aussies only tip for truly exceptional service, and even then, it’s usually just rounding up the bill.
