Sarah Jane Hyland is an American actress. Born in New York, Hyland attended the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, followed by small roles in the films Private Parts, Annie, and Blind Date,Modern Family won’t be on forever and if the quality of writing lately is any indication, it’s hopefully on its last legs. While the rest of the characters have devolved to one-note stereotypes, Hyland continues to give her character, Haley Dunphy, depth we wouldn’t have guessed when the show started years ago. Hyland may be as great an actress as Meryl Streep, but we’ll never know unless she starts doing different things.
