Georgia woman killed by CO2 from a leaking McDonald’s soda machine
An eighty-year-old woman in Georgia was found dead in a McDonald’s bathroom, after suffocating on carbon dioxide. The cause? A leaky carbonation hose leading to one of the soda machines. The leak caused a week-long build-up of the gas—which ended up being fatal.
