She was the second daughter of Nasir al-Din Shah and married Dust Muhammad Khan (the ten year-old son of Dust ʻAli Khan Muʻayyir al-Mamalik in 1866 (or 1867). Their children were: ʻIsmat al-Muluk, Amir Dustʻali Khan, Fakhr al-Taj Khanum, and Dust Muhammad Khan Iʻtisam al-Dawlah.
